I have found several questions about disabling EAN13 verification on POS but none of them really explains how to achieve it.

I have a problem with pharmaceuticals, since most of them uses a different barcode than EAN13. For instance, it uses a barcode like "2429983".

I have sucessfully disabled EAN13 (with the help of product_ean13_validation_remove), but this codes are not recognized on point_of_sale module.

My question is, what changes should be made on "devices.js" (I think), in order to be abble to scan those types of barcodes.

PS: It is not related with scanner equipment because verified that the scanned scans all types of bar codes.
