For example, if you want to test Authorize.Net credentials:
Enable Online Payment and Invoice Online Payment in Settings
Install the payment acquirer
Change the State to "test mode" and enter the credentials
In the Configuration tab, change the payment flow to "Payment from Odoo"
Test this by either creating a Sales Order and creating an Invoice or check out in Ecommerce.
To test in the Sales Order:
Create Sales Order.
Create Invoice.
Preview Invoice >> Pay Now
Credit Card (powered by Authorize) Test Mode
Transactions can be simulated using a sandbox environment provided by the acquirer. Validates various payment methods, error handling and security protocols to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

1. Enable online payment in Settings.
2. Install payment acquirer.
3. Set State to "test mode" and enter credentials.
4. In Configuration tab, choose "Payment from Odoo" as payment flow.
5. Test by creating a Sales Order, Invoice, and previewing the invoice.
6. For Sales Order: Create, generate Invoice, and select "Pay Now" in Test Mode.
7. Use Credit Card (powered by Authorize) in Test Mode.
