I am trying to load the opening balances for a company in Odoo 8.
I have setup the Chart of Accounts. Also figured how to load opening balances for accounts using Opening Entries Journal (OEJ).
Also able to setup the bank accounts using Setup your Bank Accounts under Accounts
Not able to figure out how do I associate a Balance amount with the Bank Account I created in "Setup your Bank Account".
Use this option to set opening balance.I think this may be helpful.

I am using Odoo 8 and there is no such button on Odoo 8
Try using developer mode and tick show full accounting features
Already on developer mode with full accounting features
As you say you are done upto making opening journal entries and still left with balance in the bank I would say this looks like your capital towards the bank balance.
