Hi Newt Jude,

Payment method in Odoo POS is basically a Journal. Hence to have/add/setup a payment method in Odoo POS we need to configure a Journal. This can be done through the Accounting menu or from the POS configuration page. I will show you both ways:-

Through Accounting Menu:-

• Follow the path , Accounting Menu>Configurations>Journals. Here you need to configure a Journal with basic details such as type of account,Default Debit Account ,Default Credit Account

• After doing so, you need to go to the Tab “Point Of Sales”

• Here you need to check the check Box(PoS Payment Method). On doing so this journal would appear as a payment method in POS

Through Point of Sales:-

•   Follow the path, Point Of Sales>Configuration>Point Of Sales>Available Payment Method(Add here the journal you created)

• In case you want to configure a journal(Payment method) here itself, you need go to Add an item>Create
