Hello, I just locally installed version 9. All the new restaurant features are great. Now I want to configure a kitchen printer to be used in the "Order" button from the POS module. I'm using windows 8.1 and I don't have the POSBOX. Any help appreciated

You have to install pyUSB mobule as dependency for hw_escpos
Hi,
same . i'm new in odoo and just tested v9.
pos printer supported are only USB one.
if you have a posbox device :
just connect the printer to the posbox
add an new Order printer using the posbox ip address and add it to the point of sale definition
if you don't have posbox device :
you'll have to setup a posboxless computer : install odoo with 3 modules : hw_proxy, hw_escpos and hw_scanner
and connect your USB printer to it.
Note : i just tested using ethernet printer and an ubuntu server.
Hello! I don't have the posbox so I tried the posboxless installation. I couldn't install module hw_escpos, it says: "Unable to install module "hw_escpos" because an external dependency is not met: No module named usb.core"
i was not enable to install it on windows , got the same error install it on either ubuntu server 15.04 or Centos 7 it works
