Hi all,

I searched many times and not found a solution can solve my problem. I know that Odoo has dual UOMs function and it means between the UOMs have a relationship, but this is not I need. In my situation, I need to separate the stock for different UOMs for our products. Our industry is metal, so we concern the stock of unit and weight. I need the secondary UOM keep the stock only and no calculation in any case for pricing.

Can anyone help please?

I found an old app on odoo's app store that can fulfill my goal. There came also another case I searched on Oracle ERP for more understand my goal. But I would like to know whether there are any same solutions on the new versions of odoo (The app is for OpenERP 5)?

If you don't have a relationship between the different UoMs it is the same as if you would have different products. Your stocks will not have any movements. Using Odoo it is not a problem to handle also difficult UoM relationships, so you should think about your business case thoroughly.
