you can get product category wise sales report and download in excel format

Reporting>sales>sales analysis

here you can group the data in any form you need using the provided filters. If you need product category

in search option just add product category option and if need customer you can add that too.

from here you could get information like for how much amount a particular product categ have been sold and can group this data compny wise ,sales person,customer wise etc
