Maybe I shoul dhave included this in my original post but. I am trying out the odoo system and it looks great. Everything we kind of want. it has a webstore and it has pictures on the POS till stuff.

We are looking for a replacement for the system we have for a small pub in the outback. I am trying to work out a way we can run a TAB. Like we add the beers to a persons name and he pays at the end of the night. We dont have tables we simply have an open area. I tried running it as a restraunt but it wants tables.  Can someone suggest  a way of achieving this?

And as for my original post. I worked out I can add products to the webstore from the website but I am hoping I can say add take away food to the main POS system so they can order at the bar and also have those same items show up in the web store so they can oder and then drive in etc without having to create 2 different lists? I can see on the webstore what I have added to the POS but they say unpublished and I cant figure out how to see them. But if I add them to the webstore from the web store I can see them. But so far so good

V17 has the self ordering functionality in PoS. Maybe that would make it easier for you to manage rather having online orders separately.

If you analyze how odoo pos works correctly you can get what you want all your requirements are already available in odoo,

If you have a small area not any table means maybe you can creae one table as big as big then inside you create multiple order
like if the cus A arrives click the table and make the order
in the mean time if cus B arrives in odoo always there is a new button (+) click that to create new order like this you can create as many as you want
when cus leaves you can navigate to the particular order and make the payment

You can create multiple orders and then navigate between them

If you use just the shop functionality (not the restaurant) you can create multiple orders and toggle between them. Would not need to define table. Click top right on orders and New Order.

The pub is an old style with farmers. They dont like technology so the currently write the name of the person on a sheet behind the bar and put sales on that. At the end of the night the person simply pays his tab. I tried using the customer function of the system at the pos. In other words, customer Bill buys 3 beers and puts them on his account. That works. But how can I at the end of the night call up what Bill owes from his account and settle it there and then?

I have also worked out that its simalar to a restraunt but without tables. Bill could order all night and settle his account at the end of the night but we dont use tables. There might be 1 person in the pub and there might be 30 if its a saturday night. We need a way of allowing each person (even if we make them a customer) of running an account for the night

On nights there is food like a wednesday, we need to be able to add a food order to the POS screen in the bar and have that order like beers added to the account/tab and have the order show in the kitchen or print out in the kitchen
