How to reserved Sales Order Quantity for the Futute Delivery of the order?

Hello

I have received customer order of total 10 count of products
out of 10 count of products customer wants to get 5 products now and rest 5 products to be delivered in Feb 2025

SO I have created one Sales Quotation of all the 10 count of products under customer name.
Confirm Sales quotation and then split order
I have taken all the action of Ship now products and delivered 5 count of products

When I have split rest 5 count of product I would like to reserved all 5 Count of product qty so t

Go to Inventory --> Configuration --> Operation Type --> Delivery Orders --> Configure Reservation Method, By default it's based on confirmation you can change it to manual or other option.
