Dear All, 

Now, I am testing the Odoo free trial version in Odoo website for our company.

we use base currency ( local currency) for reporting and ( we also use USD foreign currency). I input the opening balance for other transaction and our currency bank account and It is ok. But I can't record the opening balance for USD bank Account.

Frist, In COA, I created the USD Bank account ( select USD currency) and then created the Journal ( Accounting > Journal) for that USD account and choose ($ USD currency). already set up in currency for daily exchange rate.

But the problem is when I record the opening balance in " USD Bank account" it shows " the account select on your journal entry forces to provide a secondary currency. you should remove the secondary currency in the account" like that.

That is why, I remove the USD currency in COA char of account , I can record but I think it cannot be true.  " How should I solve it? "

2. accrued expense account ( eg for electricity bill, internet bill....etc)

I created that " accrued expense account in Chart of account' and record the opening balance.

I would like to know I do I have to record when I pay the bill ( when cash really out).

when I try to record Accrued Expense _ Dr and Cash _ Cr

Which button I have use and how to make a record for that transaction. in Odoo.
