When in
settings > local modules
and about to install a module, we need the user to see some meaningful logo. How can we add that logo in its place?

As I go though some of the certified modules in v8, it seems the logo file is kept as 'icon.png' under static/descriptions (in v7, it is under static/src/img).
but it gives some error... while installing in odoo-8 windows version...
@Anand, provide your error so that we can understand your problem.
something like web layout doest not looks good... displaying some error.... in top screen,,,,like "static/css not avalable"
