how to open vendors and customers account without buting product

Question

I am new to odoo . I tring to import my old database to odoo .. I want add the old vendors and cutsomer account
for example some people need money from and me and the vise versa . how to open account for them ?
what should I do ?

Define your account receivables and account payable account(s), then import your customers and vendors and assign the corresponding accounts. The recommended way to set up the partner balances is to import the open invoices, but you can also assign the opening balances to the ledger accounts directly, if you are familiar with accounting.

*ahmedatbeni* May i know which verison you are currently using. Actually by default  Odoo doesn't have any feature like this yet.
