Hi everyone,

In scenario 1 my EPSON TM-T20II printer is connected using USB to a RPI, and where the RPI acts as the main POS system.  In this case, I can modify the POS ticket template located in: /opt/odoo/addons/point_of_sale/static/src/xml/pos.xml to change the content and layout of the ticket which is printed.  This works fine and as expected.

Scenario 2, where my EPSON TM-T20II printer is connected to a POSBOX, and where a RPI connects to the POSBOX over Ethernet to print a customer-receipt ticket.  In this case, the layout changes which were implemented on the RPI seem not to be taken into account anymore - and the POSBOX seems to be using its own layout scheme.

Which file (on the POSBOX I presume) do I need to edit/modify, in order to change the content and layout of the ticket which is printed by the POSBOX?

Thank you in advance!

Cheers,

Gioti

You need to modify the template called XmlReceipt, that is the template used to print in the Posbox, be warned though that styling is quite limited since you can't use CSS.
