Is there a way to create a separate sequence for Sale Order numbers when the order is placed through my website?
For example, the normal sequence for my sales orders are 100235, 100236, 100237, etc. But for my website I want my sequence to be W4000, W4001, W4002, etc.. Is there any way I can do this?
Website Sales are separated from Sales Orders placed by Users via the Sales Channel.
Each Sales Order indicates which Channel it came from on the Other Information tab:
There is a From Website filter that Users can select to see JUST Website Sales Orders:
You would need customization to have two different sequences used for Sales Orders.
