Hi, I'm trying to import excel file in attendance module in odoo 12 community, but I cannot find the import button anywhere!

Hi,
In the attendance tree view you can see the import button at the top. If you are not able to see that button make sure that the base_import module is installed in the database.

Hello niyas bhai I am unable to import the excel file to my hr attendence. My data is coming from biometric machines i want to import it to attendence . My data is in messy format can you please give some advise how should I import it to my odoo 11 attendence.

Thank you for your answer. But I still not to find the attendance button anywhere after go to Attendance -> Manage Attendance -> Attendances.
How can I install the base_import module in the database?
Note: My Odoo 12 community is now running on localhost:8069 on Ubuntu 18.04 platform.

From the apps menu, you can install this application

I tried to search the base_import module from the apps menu according to your instruction, but did not find it.
There are a difference between the community and enterprise version. Right?
Did you check after removing the apps filter ?

Yes, thank you for your support. Now I found it and installed it after removing the apps filter.
But the import button still not appear after I check in Attendance -> Manage Attendance > Attendances.
Please help!
Import button is there. You can find on attendance list view. (go to Attendance -> Manage Attendance > Attendances)
