the best way to host odoo is to host it on cloud services like amazon or google. stacks like bitnami are already present in template so you can install them on few clicks, that too on free tier micro instances.
Where is your description? You can install Odoo only when you have root permissions to the server... So you need an virtual or dedicated root environment. Or you have shared envrionments and you webhost is agrees with installing Odoo for you on this environment. You can install it very easyly and you just have to point the subdomain from your Domainhoster to your webspace (insert the ipv4 in the subdomain A-Record)
@Malte Helmhold thank you very much, but i have one more question how could make it available in cloud. From where should i start ?
@Noble Man, you are welcome. But what do you mean with available in cloud? I'm using bitnami to host it on an elastic amazon server. check out my post on schmalte.com. Go to odoo, you will find information on how to install the bitnami stack. Or - in respect because we're in the odoo forum - of course you can use a on demand service and take full advantage of the Odoo service team when you host it on a Odoo Server:) You have to know by yourself:)
