I have noticed, that you have to set the wage type on the new model salary structure type now. Then you have to make the structure and the salary rules.

We have 2 Salary Structure Types (one with wage type monthly and the other hourly). Then we have made 2 Salary Structures, which refer to either the monthly or the hourly structure type. Now we have about 20 Salary Rules which are used for all employees regardless from their wage type .

So my question is: How am I supposed to make 2 Structures (One for Monthly and one for Hourly), that partly use the same wage types?

If we do have to create a salary rule for each wage type (structure), what are the advantages compared to the old versions?

Thanks in advance for any kind of help.

Hi

Create 3 salary structures.

Base Structure (parent) with all the 20 salary. rules.

Managers structure - with monthly rule (one rule)

General Workers - with hourly rule(one rule)

So in the managers and general workers structure select in parent - base structure.  Then do the test and see if it solves it..

Hope I understood your question correctly.
