we are running Odoo 12 community and i am struggling with the public holidays.

I set up my system so a confirmed leaves request produces a timesheet entry automatically with the average workhours of the employer.

Next step i added public holidays to his "working hours" in odoo so the public holydays do not count in his leaves request.

Next step is for HR: i want to create a new project task in my "leaves" project so the average workhours on public holidays even get their entry.

But since i set the public holydays in the "working hours" the amount of the public holidays leaves request allways count "0 days" of course.

Is there a workaround for this?
