Hello All,

When i create a internal transfer document between two locations, in stock.move product price save with 0.00 value. so, how to edit product price for internal transfer?

Hi, 

Odoo does not store the value of the product in stock move for internal transfers,
I guess there is no use to do so, 

Because practically when you transfer the stock from one internal location to another internal location within your company , the stock is affected in the respective locations and not the value . Hi all, please correct me if am wrong.

I agree with your answer, when you internally transfer products from one stock location to another, the price remains the same.

You can view the valuation of your current stock by location if you navigate to the product's stock locations.

I partly agree with the answer. Think about scenario like this. The company (power generators) I work have several divisions e.g. sales, service, repair..etc. The service division is required to provide AMC service where consumables like oil filters are being sold with the AMC agreement.

Now let's say when company purchase 10 oil filters at the cost 100 USD each, the sales division sells them at 150 USD to customers. Then service division requires an oil filter, a filter being transferred to service division using internal transfer mechanism. But the service division get's this filter at 120USD instead of 150USD. This is required for profit sharing  among internal divisions. They include this filter to AMC quotation at 140USD giving a 10USD discount to AMC customer. So the service division cost is 120USD and their profit is 20USD not 40USD!

So internal transfer requires a price change! How can we implement this? Thanks. Suraj

OMG, I have same issue. My scenario is that we purchased battery product with 350 USD. When regeneration take place, our battery cost in inventory down to 50%. My costing method is average method.
So I need to change price in internal transfer. How can we implement this?
