Hello everyone,

I have setup a Project on Odoo v12.

I defined that all employees have access to this project but I do not want them to be able to access all "Project" app menus and options.

Is there anyway I can create a menu "linked" to an existing project so users click on that menu and have direct access to project tasks?

I need to do it using Odoo itself and not from a custom module.

Thank you in advance

Regards

Hi,

If you are looking to do it from odoo studio, you can just activate the studio mode and you can add a new menu under the employees menu and specify the model as project/task, so that on clicking the menu project/task willl be shown.

If you are not able to use studio, navigate to Settings -> Technical -> User Interface -> Menu Items and create a new menu there, as shown in below image

Thanks

Thank you @Niyas Raphy,

Using this approach helps me to create a menu link to projects/tasks. What I really need is to create a menu link to a "specific" project/task. Not all projects. I need to open the tasks related to a certain project. Is it possible?

Thank you once again
