Hi,


So for an employee that started work on Feb. 15 for example, and I want to make the pay slip on Feb. 29, how do I make the pay slip calculate only these 14 days, and not the whole month of February ?

Hi,In payroll, you can choose the period to calculate the payslip and create the salary structure type based on requirement.

1. Go to payroll-> Configuration -> Structure Types.


Choose Default scheduled pay as Bi-weekly
2. Go to payroll-> Configuration -> Structures.Create a new structure with a created salary structure type and default scheduled pay as 'Bi-weekly'
3. Choose period: 15 Feb - 28 Feb4. Compute the salary, You will get the half-month payslip.

Thank you, but can you elaborate on any generic case, such as an employee who joins on the 25th, or the 4th, or any other day, how will this be solved ?
