Hello all, as the title suggests I am looking for a way to modify the delivery order deadline (date_deadline) field after the delivery order is created from sales order confirmation. At our company we use this field to calculate the on-time delivery KPI. I understand why this field is read-only, but at the same time, I need it to be flexible. This is because we occasionally re-negotiate our delivery dates with the customers and in those cases the delivery will sometimes be marked late because we cannot change the deadline. If anyone has a way of achieving this, by any means, please share it here. Thank you!

Found the solution: All you need to do is change the delivery date field on the sales order. It does not matter if the sale or delivery is confirmed/validated.
