How to automatize Internal Reference ?

Question

Hi, I think i found how automatize internal reference :
I searched in Sequences :
I found product.field_product_product_code
product.field_product_product_default_code
guess i have to use one of theses in order to create the sequence.
But :
The entry which i'm supposed to enter Code in Sequence code is not long enough
to enter theses two Complete ID (product.field_product_product_code , product.field_product_product_default_code)
Is it a bug ?
Can i do something (i prefer without changing the co

I had already seen this post, i understand how to do but when i go to :
Settings>>Technical>> Sequences & Identifiers>>Sequence Codes.
i try to paste product.field_product_product_code or product.field_product_product_default_code then i have this :
