I need for example, to be able to write an email to customer, and send a copy to odoo project mailbox. By default odoo will create a task or an issue with the message. When you have several real tasks or issues, keepeng mail messages as tasks or as issues confuse users.

Ideas:

1.Send an email to project chatter, but I don't know how to do it.

2. Create a channel and add a link to the channel to project form view. I need an advice how to do it. Result: If some user would send an email to channel alias, the message would appear in channel.

Hello John doe,

For your first idea may be helpful for you.  Following the step for sending mail from project :-
            1) Add users in followers in project chatter
            2) Then click on "New Message" Button then add your message and also attach some file or image and click on send button that message is sent by email to all added followers.

        Hope this will help you!

Thanks

Hi,

Why don't you create a channel and assign an email id to it. So going forward you need to send all project management mails from this id and they will even appear in chatter. Have you tried doing this?

Do you mean this: I have a project with alias "project_a" and a channel with alias "project_ch". It works. Now I need to add a link to a project form to make user see channel messages when he press it. For now mu new field shows only channel info: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/47098976/field-with-link-to-mail-channel-in-project-form

yes... Does it work?

Steps, described above, work. Sending messages from real mailbox as you advice shouldn't work. Odoo recieve and parse only mail for not-existing adresses. So channel should be assigned with alias, not real mail box, and we can't send messages from it.
