I'm just seeing this.
The way I post depreciation entries for bulk assets is this -
Define the asset type properly and add the assets to the type as needed.
Confirm the asset - this populates the depreciation board, after confirmation you should see in the left most column of the entries red dots. This means they have not been posted.
Now, in debug mode select the adviser menu item and select generate asset entries for a particular date, this should generate draft journal items in the journal defined for the asset(s) you are working on.
To post these items, we select the journal entries menu item in the adviser menu and in list view, filter the entries to the journal you want to be working on e.g. Motor Vehicle Journal. This should show you all the draft items yet to be posted. Check the select all button to select all draft entries and select the action button. Choose post all entries and voila! all entries should be posted for the period you want.
