Is there a way to validate the price enter by salesman in sale order is within a specify range? for example price must be >$150 and cannot be >$200 ?

this refers to the purchase order workflow, but you can apply the same to the sale order.
indeed, modifying a workflow through the web is not the best way since you can lose everything with the next openerp upgrade
