hello,

i have installed odoo 8 in order to try a module named cmms.


i have edited adminsitrator to have technical features.

i have puted the unzipped the module in  openerp/server/addons

i have refreshed the module update list

i have redtarted the server

i have retraed the computer

i cant see the module in the application list (the number of total application dosent change)

i have tryed it for other modules...same problem.

i need help

thanks mateo but Problem solved


i was installling odoo in C:  which ask for admin permission to do any thing


i placed odoo in D: and everything worked fine

You need to verify that the unzipped folder has the __openerp__.py file.

Also, you may create a new folder next to your openerp installation, and your folder path to the addons_path. There are many answers already on the forum about it. Regards
