I tried saving an Odoo Trial balance to ,pdf or .Xlsx file format not the dump / download feature but the Save feature where you select the options.  Feature gives you an export button when you select option .pdf or xlsx with a name and when you do the file created is displayed and when you click on it you then can edit it by pointing to a file name you want in a repository of your choice. What amazing is why the feature when you run the report say and save as a template to later use. the rule followed is good that a new file will be created not as to replace template but then the data does not change it remains the same data as the original yet you would have change date to run report and your screen report is different to the report generated. I could not understand why then this feature when just pointing report to be .PDF or .XLSX does the thing
