More specifically for each subcontractor I have in my supply chain network? I do indeed want to track the components stored in each subcontractor's location in order for me to know when and where I should regularly resupply the components for the productions to happen.

For each Vendor, you can specify if they share the same Subcontracting location, or if they each have their own location:
On the Vendor, define this on the Sales & Purchase tab:

I don't have the "inventory" section under that tab. Is it on Odoo 15? (I'm using 14)
You need to install the module Inventory.
