Suppose we have ten rolls of fabrics with 10 meters each, and the end product will need 50 meters fabric. If we use lots (let's say 1 lot of fabric is 10 meters), then since we have 100 meter fabric, then 5 lots of 10 meters each will be used for production. However, it would not make sense to make the end product from smaller pieces of fabric. How can we solve this in Odoo? (In other words, not allowing Odoo to use smaller pieces than the specified bill of materials for production)
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Accounting
- Inventory
- PoS
- Project management
- MRP

We have a solution for the same. We have developed set of custom modules to manage this as 'CatchW8', where you can manage the inventory, sales, purchase, invoicing, manufacturing etc. in dual units of measure.

With all due respect, please stop spamming the forum with your unsolicited advertising for expensive paid modules.
Goto ---> Settings / Configuration / Sales / Product Features and check "Allow using different units of measure"
