we 5 person installed odoo on our computers under one server. I created one database and logged into the odoo and added users (my colleagues) and their permissions and also installed the needed modules. when my colleagues start to use odoo in browser with localhost address, their odoo wants to create new database too.

how must my colleagues connect to the one unit database and do team works and my manager control events? (we installed odoo on Windows OS and run in the Firefox)

Hello Reza,

1:

If you all have installed odoo on your Computers than everyone must create Database to use odoo (they can use it using localhost)

2:

If you all are under Same Network (Server) and you have created Unit DB than in order to Access that particular DB you need to share ip address to Access this odoo server from other Systems.


Assume oddo is running on machine having ip address "192.168.0.17" on port 8069 

so in this case all other users needs to access  http://192.168.0.17:8069
