I am using Odoo V16 online enterprise in Germany,


I need to make all customer invoices in German language and want to set only "Accounting " and PoS module in German language. Rest should be in English. How to make it?

Now, I want to ask, does Odoo also provide guidance on German accounting because there is almost no info available in German language when it comers to german accouting. In Germany it is must to provide every deatail of accounting only in German.
Also, does Odoo provide any kind of German accountant support or services?

Niyas,  I tried with all the firms in Germany mentioned in the odoo documentation. but so far no response. Could you suggest me some others?

Hi Nikunj,

To my knowledge you cannot just make a single App language specific.  But, if you have a user who is an accountant, and they have their language settings set to German, then you can use this in German language.

Other users can continue in their own language.

To use German you will need to add the German language in your General Settings.  Then the user can set the language to "German"

You may also need to add Euro as currency.

If you are handling sales and purchase transactions in a different currency (or different country), you should use a multi-company setting and create a German company with Euro as the currency.  In this case your other organizations can use their country-specific settings.

Please also make sure to go to your "Apps" selection and install the German Accounting settings.  



You can also create or update new email templates that are in German

Yes, adding users costs extra if you are on Odoo Enterprise. If you need portal access only (with limited functionality) the portal users are free.
Portal users can see and pay their invoices, Sales Orders, tickets, etc.
