Hello All

I have a certain issue which is crucial for our operations. We are using V15 Enterprise.

We have multiple warehouses, and do internal transfers between these warehouses.

Now, lets assume i have 3 warehouse A, B and C.

A is the main warehouse and B,C are Retail stores/warehouses.

If WH - B wants to place an internal request for a transfer or stock, they have to send an email to WH A asking for the stock. Then WH A enters those into the system, and does the internal transfer.

Is there any way that WH B can create the demand inside the Odoo interface. So that WH A receives the demand, and can then validate this request depending on available inventory.

This will help negate the need for communication outside the Odoo interface, and the demand as well as the transfer will get documented.

Have gone through the app store, but haven't found a solution.

Anyone with any ideas, please share.

Thanks

@Vikrant, this can be done by creating a "operation type" specifying transfer from WH-A to WH-B, hence the user at WH-B creates a transfer with list of materials required and post it, the same can be seen in the inventory dashboard for WH-A, as "delivery orders" based on the settings, the person at WH-A checks the stock  and approves the transfers and picks the material and do the transfer, physically and in Odoo.

Hi Vikrant,

The video below addresses a couple of use cases and details the steps to achieve them. It might help in applying and creating the routes (push/pull, triggers etc) specific to your business needs.
