Here are the step to reproduce:


  • Installed a fresh Odoo 17.0-20240826 from official docker image (Community)
  • Create a fresh new database (specify French as language)
  • Installed Website application
  • Skipped the web page setup
  • Activate debug mode
  • View a email template (technical / Email Templates / Paramètres : Nouvelle invitation d'utilisateur)
  • Click on "Preview" (Aperçu) => crash 

    AttributeError: res.users: object has no attribute 'e'

Note: No problem with the English version

Found the problem:

In the French translations, all occurrences of {{object.email}} have been translated to {{object.e-mail}}
