Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with Odoo POS combined with an Epson fiscal printer.

Specifically:

• In Odoo POS, payments are recorded correctly, distinguishing between:

  • cash

  • card / POS

• However, on the Epson fiscal printer, all payments are printed and fiscalized as “cash”, even when the customer pays by card.

So:

• Odoo side → payment method is correct

• Fiscal printer side → no distinction, everything is registered as cash

This obviously causes problems from a fiscal and cash closing perspective.

I would like to understand:

• whether this is a limitation of the Odoo–Epson integration

• whether a specific configuration of payment methods in Odoo POS is required

• or if a different fiscal driver/module or an explicit mapping of payment methods to the fiscal printer is needed

Has anyone already faced this issue or can point me to the correct configuration?
