Hello guys is it possible to inherit a existing field i odoo 10 to my customised model in my case i want to inherit the project_id field from the project.project model to my model.

Yes, In Odoo/OpenERP we can inherit or use existing modules object/class/model and views. We can also inherit single field of existing modules. Reference: https://goo.gl/fGNfBY
