We want, quickly, to setup our website to support the pickup of orders in store.

What is the best way to do this without development?

You can create a Delivery Method for pickup.

Then, edit the checkout page to inform your Customer:

Your Customer would then select the pickup option:

You can group and/or filter Sales Orders by Delivery Method once your Customer(s) have checked out from the website.

We have a similar need, however need this to assign these picking orders to the store 'warehouse' instead of our distribution warehouses. Any thoughts on how to direct the individual picking orders based on delivery method?

I think this requires customization, unless you work with the "Add Extra Step" option and ask the Customer to select the store they plan to pickup. What about a Delivery Method for each Store??

I know this is a bit of an old post, and sorry for bringing a stale topic back up, but I have exactly the same problem - I have "delivery methods" for store pickup and need to trigger different rules depending on which delivery method is selected. An employee can just select the correct "warehouse" to deliver from (although that's still two steps where one should suffice), but no such option for eCommerce...

Brandon, did you manage to find a way to do this last year?

You could probably consider creating automated action to trigger on creation of a delivery order to set the Source Location and (or) delivery address (address of the store rather than that of customer) and (or) assign to specific user (Responsible) based on Carrier (Delivery method) selected

This is just a suggestion as the routes (deliver processes) are defined specific to a business
