Hello,

Due to unstable and poor internet access, we cannot rely on working full time on cloud for daily operations (point of sales, delivery, accounting). We also have an online store. We are figuring out how to satisfy our requirements.

Our idea is to have an Odoo Enterprise database in .sh, only for our online sales.

And our main Odoo Enterprise database, locally installed at our main office.

We only need to export sales and online payments from cloud to the local one. We will update inventory and deliveries manually in the cloud one.

Apart from dealing with the Odoo exporting/importing, is there any other solution, preferably automatically like replication, that you can recommend?

Thanks in advance,

Viena

Unfortunately, that solution does not apply to our country, there is only one telecomm provider here, all internet service is provided by them. Therefore, no secondary network where to switch in case of a failover.

The cheapest and easiest solution is to implement a failover WAN.

See https://ventusgns.com/page/applications#failoverwan

This is the same technology used by banks for their automatic teller machines.  In the event that your internet fails, the failover connection is used. Often, you pay very little until you need to failover connection.
