Hi everyone

We use the contact recipient type for mass mailings, as we include leads, interests (tags), event attendees, etc.

To ensure that people who have already received an email on a certain topic in the last two weeks do not receive the next email on a different topic, we want to exclude contacts who have received a mass mailing in the last 14 days, for example.

How can we do that? We do not use Marketingautomation, only the E-Mail Marketing Module.

Thanks for your help.

Hello Sabrina,

You can add one field to store last mass mailing date in Contact and then Use that field to filter the contacts in your next Mailing.

Or if you are not willing to add a field then you can inherit compute method "_compute_mailing_domain" of mass mailing field "mailing_domain" and add appropriate domain in resulting domain to filter the contacts received mail before 14 days.

Thank you.

Hi Fenil - Can you elaborate on this "add one field to store last mass mailing date in Contact and then Use that field to filter the contacts in your next Mailing."

I am also needing the same rule. I'd like to add a filter.

Right now my filter is-
Recipient: mailing contact
Rules: Mailing list is in [selected the appropriate mailing list]

Now I want to add one additional rule to exclude this contact if they have received this email (or if not possible, then received any mass mailing email) in the past 5 days.

Which fields do I need to write this rule? Thanks!
