Hi,
In the event creation module, we can create questions.
How do we add the answers to the ticket and the PDF badge?
For example: adding a nickname in the questions and making it appear in the TicketPDF, BadgePDF, and HTML format.

Hi @lawrencegreaves.
I am using the built-in app/events feature with odoo.
Is it a good practice to use odoo for that or I need to use an external tools as suggested (typeform or eventcreate ?)
Do you have any template names or files that I can use as a reference to try out.
Thks
Certainly! To include answers from event questions in the ticket and PDF badge, you’ll need to customize the templates for these documents. Here’s how you can achieve this:
PDF Tickets:
When an attendee registers for an event, you can email them a PDF ticket with a QR code.
To include the nickname (or any other answer) on the ticket, modify the ticket template.
Locate the relevant template file (usually in your event management system) and add a placeholder for the nickname.
Replace the placeholder with the actual answer from the registration form.
PDF Badges:
For professional-looking event badges, follow these steps:
Create a form (similar to the registration form) where attendees provide their details.
Include a field for the nickname.
Use a solution (such as Typeform) that merges form answers into a PDF.
When an attendee fills in their details, the solution will generate a badge with the nickname and email it to them.
HTML Format:
If you want the nickname to appear in the HTML format (e.g., on a webpage), follow a similar approach.
Customize the HTML template used for displaying event details.
Retrieve the nickname answer from the registration form and insert it into the appropriate location in the template.
Remember to test these changes thoroughly to ensure everything displays correctly. If you have any specific tools or platforms you’re using, let me know, and I can provide more detailed instructions!
