odoo 17. Using the web interface only.

I created an event to try and do some ticket sales, and when the event web page is (automatically) generated, it has 2 "buy tickets" buttons, and a third button that has no label. I can't delete the "buy tickets" buttons, and it only lets me change the link associated witht he buttons - neither button brings up the ticket sales form.
The blank buttong DOES bring up the ticket sales for, but it won;t let me edit ANY of the buttong characteristics - text, size, style, etc.....
any suggestions for what could be causing this?
