Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well. 

Since the SH application was updated, I've been getting an XSRF error a few times, as if a stored cookie is needed and it can't find it. 

I've only been able to resolve this by rebuilding the branch, but it's annoying because if I have untested progress that I don't want to commit, I have to commit it first and then rebuild it to avoid losing it. 

It even won't let me open terminals from the editor; I have to open the Shell view from the instance and push from there. If anyone can tell me the cause of this error, and if it can be reported, I'd appreciate it.

Hi!

This is a known issue with Odoo.sh XSRF token errors after the SH app update. Here are some quick fixes:

Quick workaround (without rebuilding):

  1. Clear browser cookies/cache for your .odoo.sh domain and reload — this often resolves the stale XSRF cookie issue without a full rebuild.

  2. Hard refresh — try Ctrl+Shift+R (or Cmd+Shift+R on Mac) to force a clean session.

  3. Use an incognito/private window — this bypasses cached cookies entirely.

For the terminal issue: Use the Shell tab directly from your instance dashboard as you mentioned — this is the safest workaround for now. You can also push from there using git push.

To avoid losing uncommitted work before rebuilding: Run git stash before rebuilding, then git stash pop after — no need to commit.

Reporting: Yes, this can be reported! Go to Odoo.sh → Support or post on github.com/odoo/odoo with your SH build logs showing the XSRF error for the team to investigate.
