What is the best way to handle employee purchases from the stock of the company?
Is it possible to deduct the payment while doing the payslip and what is the way to do that if possible? Or he must be a seperate customer and collect the payment on cash from them?
Ideally we are trying to have those purchases handled while preparing the monthly payroll.
Employee object has a field: Home Address. This home adress links an emloyee to res.partner. This means that once they purchase smth from stock, there will be account receivable balance in their partner object. When you create and confirm a payslip, there will be account payable balances in their partner object. So while u do the salary payment, u can pay less and reconcile rest payable with the receivable balance.
This is not really an ideal solution since the invoices are issued by Sales team or Warehouse depending on the situation. If you have several transations during till the month end it is eaasy to lose track considering that the recivables are linked to the company rather than the individual and will not show up the details in the follow up menu in the accounting section. even if the accountant view the company follow up tab, they will see invoices and the related employee is not going to show.
Is there any way that can automate the process? Is it possiblke to create a salary rule to populate the employee purchases as a seperate line oon the payslip? considering that the employee is linked via home address to a customer who is an an employee for the company.
If there sia special linking to be done, How?
The link between the employee and partner is a link between an employee and a employee as a partner. So this partner is not a company, but an employee itself. If you don't link, the how u charge salaries?
This is exactly what I am asking for. Is there a way to link? There should be be a way to show the receivable from the employee while preparing the payroll, otherwise you are asking to do this work manually at a time we are trying to automate processes.
