We just started a trial of Odoo and love it so far.

We initially want to use it for email and social media marketing. However the limitation of 200 emails per day is disappointing.

How much (and at what cost) could this be lifted?

Are there any alternatives? Could we use Amazon SES or similar to forward the email campaigns?

Thank you Ray for the info. There are rays of hope that a solution is close!

I had already searched the forum for the issue, and I had seen the generic replies on contacting the Odoo team for increasing the limits. However this generic reply doesn't give any real information.

I have 3000 contacts, GDPR cleared. I want to use most of the apps, but currently the focus is on email and social media marketing. The bounce rate is unknown, as we need Odoo to start the campaigns.

With this info given, could there be an estimation on how many daily emails we could get?

Hi,

If the daily limit is reached:

  • Contact the Odoo support team, who may increase the daily limit depending on the following factors:
    1. How many users are in the database?
    2. Which apps are installed?
    3. The bounce rate: the percentage of email addresses that did not receive emails because they were returned by a mail server on their way to the final recipient.

          - Use an external outgoing email server to be independent of Odoo’s mail limit,          - Please refer to this link:https://www.odoo.com/forum/help-1/increase-the-daily-email-limit-196821
Hope it helps
