I had installed community version, previously there was an email going out to the manager/coach when the employee applies for leave and also that comes in discuss.
But i don't know what i had changed and both of the functionalities goes down :( I am using Odoo 9

Did you try to properly set priorities to each email account?
Try to put different number of Priority to each email account and try again.
