Currently when a customer leaves a comment on a product page we can see his full name. For privacy reasons I would like to truncate the names of customers that are displayed. For example: "Dupont Jean" becomes "D. Jean"

Do you have any solutions to this problem? More generally, how can we change the display of the elements of a template?
