(Using Odoo v8) I can edit a confirmed Sales Order and change the Warehouse on the front page of the SO. This action makes no changes to Stock Movements. So I'm wondering why I'm allowed to change it in the first place?

You can :
Cancel your sale ordrer
Click on the button "Set to Quotation"
Edit your sale order and change the warehouse
Confirm again your sale order

Hi David,
I had gone through your query and tried to replicate the same. I also faced the same issue as yours, as i also found that there is no point allowing an user to change the Warehouse on the Front end as the change does not appear on the stock moves once the Sales Order is confirmed.Can any one let us know regarding this query
