Suppose someone brought my product on my website shop. Buyer paid by Paypal. Does my sale gets paid automatically or should I go to sales, confirm quotation, then generate invoice and register payment manually? 

Same for Event Ticket payments, suppose someone brought ticket, should I confirm event subscriptions manually one by one?

By default, when a sale is completed through the e-commerce module, a sales order is created. You need to create an invoice and register payment manually or reconcile it through a bank statements.
