Hi,
For the latest code of Odoo 16, you can directly download the zip file from the Odoo github.There you can see an option to choose the version and you can download it from the code button. You can refer to the picture below.
If you are trying to install Odoo 16 in Ubuntu 20.O4 LTS, I suggest you to refer this blog.
