I have an excel sheet where I have to get the details and the total of everybody's monthly payments in the company.

So what I would do is create this excel sheet with a small calendar where it has the (day of the month on the top column) and the employee's job on the left.

So what the employees would do is fill in the boxes that they worked in with a time algorithm like (0.5 as half a day) or (0.25 as the quarter of a day).

The excel sheet would multiply the total time they worked on the month by their annual payment. Therefore they get their monthly payment.

What I do is I send this small calendar to every single person in the company, and they would fill in the form, get the results, then send it back to me.

After I get all the results, I have to copy and paste every single result into the big calendar with everybody's name on it, which is a big problem because it takes a long time to do.

The other problem is that every month I have to edit the calendar with its current month.


I was searching for a way to do this all automatically. I came across odoo which seems to have a large set of services that could help.

The problem is there is too much services, too much documentation, and I just don't know which services to use or what documentation to read. I just don't know where to start and which path to go, and I don't know what's going to solve my problem.

I would be very happy if I could get some ideas and recommendations that would help me with the problem that I have.
